Sashastra Seema Bal or SSB, in English the Armed Border Force is one of India's Central Armed Police Forces. It is currently under the administrative control of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India. the force was known as the Special Service Bureau (SSB)
SSB is set up in early 20 December 1963, following the Sino-Indian war. The primary task of the force was to provide armed support to the RAW. India’s foreign Intelligence agency with a secondary objective to inculcate feelings of national belonging in the border population and assist then in developing their capabilities for resistance through a continuous process of motivation, training and development, welfare programmes and activities in the border of India.

SSB Jobs 2017 Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Matriculation or equivalent and Degree in Electronic or Telecommunication or science with Physics, chemistry and Maths from recognized university or equivalent.
Sports Qualification: Players who have participated in any International Sports events as a member of the Indian Squad for last 01 year and players who have won medal(s) in any National Games/ Championships recognized by Indian Olympic Association, Sports Federation of (concerned sport) for last 01 year i.e. in between 01.04.2016 to 31.03.2017.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get monthly salary 21700/- that got the selection.
