Job Summary
The Client Services Manager (CSM) will have management responsibility for the US delivery team within the Commercial Operations department, having direct line management responsibly for several incumbents.
The CSM will oversee delivery of advertising campaigns and creative solutions for our customers and support the Account Directors to generate responses to client proposals. Once business is won, the Client Services team will expedite the delivery of the order from booking to invoicing.
The CSM will play a key role in delegating work amongst the delivery team as well as being a super user of our process, systems and ways of working.
This role will also work alongside our Editorial, Product and Technology teams to effectively deliver advertising solutions.
Department Summary
Client Services sits within the Commercial Operations team. This team ensures that Future delivers sales orders for our commercial partners from booking through to invoicing. The team works alongside the Future Sales and Marketing teams to deliver success for our advertisers, achieve group budgets and is key to Future achieving commercial success.

Key role responsibilities
Key tasks include but are not limited to:
- Task management for the US team
- Delegation of work priorities and service level management
- Team performance reporting
- Work closely in partnership with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to develop responses to client proposals; including working with global team across different timezones.
- Match the client RFP to our ad products and audience segments
- Build media plans for campaigns
- Manage orders using Netsuite and Google DSM / DFP
- Co-ordinate operations with clients such as gathering collateral and tags for advertising campaigns
- Quote and manage costs for creative solutions (video production, ad builds etc.)
Essential skills and experience
- College degree preferred
- Must have at least 1-2 years experience in online advertising
- Be familiar with IAB terms and conditions
- Basic MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, Keynote and other systems
- Line management experience essential
- Ability to work in partnership with other departmental team leads
- Able to work with ambiguity and articulate solutions to several stakeholders
- Effective service level management
- Demonstrable experience of effectively managing team priorities and workloads and successfully reporting these on a frequent basis to the departmental head.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Confident and comfortable working to tight deadlines, under pressure and on multiple work priorities
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Demonstrable experience of digital marketing or advertising
- Keen interest and/or experience of sales or commercial operations
- Understanding and knowledge of using CRM and/or booking systems (Salesforce, Netsuite or similar)
- Able to keep multiple stakeholders informed and updated of campaign progress; able to articulate key milestones and dependencies
- Working knowledge of media agencies
