About Delhi University (DU)
The University of Delhi is the premier university of the country and is known for its high standards in teaching and research and attracts eminent scholars to its faculty. It was established in 1922 as a unitary, teaching and residential university by an Act of the then Central Legislative Assembly.
When the University took birth, only three colleges existed in Delhi. And now the University has grown into one of the largest universities in India. At present, there are 16 faculties, 86 academic departments, 77 colleges and 5 other recognised institutes spread all over the city.

Delhi University UG Admissions 2017-2018
The University Delhi (DU) shall be provided the various Under Graduate Courses comprised of the faculties Arts,Commerce, Science,alog with Business, Technology Education & Library ets.For Admissions in the UG(Arts,Commerce,Science).Courses session 2016-17, through the all University affiliated colleges admission committee has scheduled the Admission criteria & has dispatched the detailed notification.
University is all set to invite the application through ONLINE & OFFLINE both modes. Applicationsthrough ONLINE Registration mode shall start from the month of may up to the June 2017,wheres through the OFLINE mode application may submit therir applications from till the June 2017 at the specified centres.
UG Merit Based Courses
The application form to get admission in DU is providing through online process. The application form for Merit Based Undergraduate Admissions is released on 22nd May 2017 (6:00 PM onwards). Candidates have to fill the application through the official website of Delhi University (link is given above). Candidates are suggested to take printout of the application form for further use. The last date for online registration is 12th June 2017.
PG Courses Application Form
Those candidates seeking admission in the various courses of Delhi University, they have to fill the DU 2017 Application form. The application form will be released from 7th June 2017. 50% seats of the PG programmes will be filled by direct admission of the students of the University of Delhi and the remaining 50% seats will filled through the entrance exam plus interviews. The registration fee for SC/ST/PwD is Rs. 1000 each course and fee for all candidates (General, OBC, etc.) is Rs. 1500. After submission of the application form, no changes will be allowed.
Delhi University Exam Pattern
The exam pattern will be different for different academic courses offered by the university. The PG entrance exam will be OMR based examination. Candidates must note that for UG courses (merit based) there will be no entrance exam. The entrance exam will be held for UG courses (entrance based) and PG courses.
