Senior Software Engineer, Web Frontend
Job description
Nexla is looking for talented, passionate, experienced, and entrepreneurial engineers for our frontend engineering team. Your primary focus will be to develop the user interface of our web app using well known React.js workflows and modern Javascript tools. You will work closely with designers and co-ordinate with rest of our engineering team working on different layers of our technology, so great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Requirements

- 5+ years of solid software development experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience developing web apps using Javascript frameworks like React, Angular, Backbone. Very strong candidates with fewer years of experience should also apply
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Expertise in interactive and responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and SASS.
- Proven ability in implementing best practices and design patterns like promises, functional javascript, application flow control, etc.
- Proficiency in modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
- Proven ability of building large scale web applications and shipping high-quality features
- Experience responding to feature requests, bug reports, performance issues and ad-hoc questions
- Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to create technical specifications, debate technical tradeoffs, and explain technical concepts to business users
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals and ability to design complex software systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics
